Slack Wax
Slack Wax is a byproduct of the base oil refining process, consisting of a blend of paraffin and petroleum oils. It is produced in solid and semi-solid forms and is available in different grades depending on the oil content.
Light Slack Wax
Light Slack Wax is a byproduct of lubricating oil refining with a relatively low oil content compared to heavy grades. It has a lighter color and higher paraffin content, making it suitable for further processing into fully refined or semi-refined paraffin wax. Light Slack Wax is widely used in candle manufacturing, packaging, cosmetics, and emulsion production due to its cleaner appearance and easier handling.
Heavy Slack Wax
Heavy Slack Wax contains a higher percentage of oil than light grades, giving it a softer consistency and darker color. This grade is commonly used in rubber manufacturing, board and paper industries, match industries, and blending for industrial applications. Heavy Slack Wax is also utilized as feedstock for producing different types of paraffin wax, depending on refining requirements.
